The Strokes will return to Australia for their first live shows in the country since 2013, with a tour scheduled for early 2027. Four performances will take place across Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney between February 13 and February 20. The band last played in Australia during their 2013 tour, which included stops in those same cities.
Ticket sales will launch with an artist presale on Monday, September 28, followed immediately by presales for Mastercard and Vodafone cardholders. The general public sale opens at 1 p.m. local time on Tuesday, September 29. Cardholder presales close at 12 p.m. AEST on that same day, after which tickets become available to everyone.

Early confirmation of the tour surfaced in Brisbane, where a Reddit user discovered digital signage in Fortitude Valley displaying text that matched the font of Reality Awaits, the band’s upcoming album. The sign read, “Reality Awaits Australia 2027.” This visual clue aligned with earlier hints from Albert Hammond Jr., the band’s bassist, who posted on Instagram that they would be “back soon” following their co-headlining appearance at the Harvest Rock Festival in Adelaide.
