In 2026, during Milan Fashion Week, Monsieur Matteo Sorbellini launched the new VIP ROOM space within ROBE ROBERTAEBASTA, a gallery store established by Roberta Tagliavini. Located at Via Solferino 3, in Brera’s center, the venue marked a significant addition to Milan’s creative scene.
The project resulted from a meeting between Roberta Tagliavini and Monsieur Matteo Sorbellini, who transformed VIP ROOM into a poetic community where fashion becomes storytelling and experimentation. They created a space that combines fashion, art, and culture.
VIP ROOM is situated in a highly scenographic space with 1950s and 1980s New York inspirations and the bohemian spirit of Brera. A distinctive element is the large room, chosen by Sorbellini as the brand’s signature color, which is described as “Caribbean blue”.
Inside the gallery store, fashion engages in dialogue with art through a continuous cultural exchange, featuring iconic furnishings and design pieces, including the famous Pratone by Gufram. This exchange is a key aspect of the store’s identity.
Monsieur Sorbellini presented BRERISSIMA, a Couture à Porter collection dedicated to women and inspired by Brera’s refined and intellectual spirit. The collection features three-dimensional floral bombers, denim embellished with crystals, and unisex couture-inspired 1970s tailoring. It is a sign of the brand’s focus on creativity and craftsmanship.
Limited productions and one-of-a-kind pieces confirm the brand’s positioning within contemporary couture, oriented toward an urban and international dimension. With this Milan debut, VIP ROOM has opened a new chapter at the heart of the fashion system. The brand is now a part of the city’s lively fashion scene.
