What is design style?
Selected Paint The fill shade of the node when chosen. This property may be added to the listing from the drop-down menu Properties → Paint → Selected Paint. Shape (Compound Node) The form of the compound node (a node that incorporates different nodes). This property is mutually exclusive of Node Height and Node Width. It could be added to the list from the drop-down menu Properties → Size → Size.

Node Properties Node Properties Description Border Line Type The type of line used for the border of the node. Border Transparency The opacity of the color of the border of the node. Zero means totally transparent, and 255 means totally opaque.
- Zero means completely transparent, and 255 means completely opaque.
- Label Position The place of the node label relative to the node.
- If the node label is wider than the desired width, Cytoscape will mechanically wrap the label on space characters.

- Node Properties Node Properties Description Border Line Type The kind of line used for the border of the node.
Label Font Size The size of the font used for the node label. Label Position The place of the node label relative to the node. If the node label is wider than the desired width, Cytoscape will routinely wrap the label on space characters. Cytoscape will not hyphenate phrases, that means that if a single word (i.e. no areas) is longer than most width, the word might be displayed past the maximum width. Nested Network Image Visible A boolean value that indicates whether a nested community should be visualized (assuming a nested network is present for the required node).
Padding (Compound Node) Internal padding of the compound node (a node that accommodates different nodes). Paint The color of the whole node, including its border, label and chosen paint. This property may be added to the list from the drop-down menu Properties → Paint → Paint.
This property may be added to the listing from the drop-down menu Properties → Paint → Border Paint. Image/Chart 1-9 A person-outlined graphic (picture, chart or gradient) that is displayed on the node.
